In the Footsteps of Ansel Adams

Photographer Ansel Adams immortalized Yosemite National Park through his classic black & white images. His images pushed the popularity of landscape photography while helping to motivate the American environmental movement. Through the course of the class, you will visit a number of locations from where Ansel composed some of his most famous images. At each location, you will have the opportunity to see the same image through your lens and work more in-depth with the scene around you. You will receive insight into Ansel's life, photography and philosophies as well as basic lessons in photographic technique.

Cancellation Policy: We rely on your attendance to make the class go. The minimum participants required for each class is 4. If a participant needs to withdraw from a class, he/she must inform the Gallery no later than 1 day prior to the scheduled class. We will then refund your payment. Refunds cannot be made for withdrawals initiated within 4 hours of the start of the class. Refunds cannot be made for participant no-shows. Your $95.00 payment will be refunded IN FULL if we cancel a class due to low enrollment or instructor scheduling conflicts. Please do not purchase non-refundable airline tickets or make non-refundable deposits on lodging. Class cancellations may occur and the Gallery will not be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets or lodging reservations. Class and guiding payments are transferable to another individual should you choose to withdraw your registration. The above policy only applies to our 4 hour photography classes and guiding services. There is a separate Workshop Cancellation Policy available on our website.
