We have a wide range of items at a variety of price points, and can work with you on pricing for volume purchases. Please contact William Garnsey at william@anseladams.com or 650.692.3285.

Interior Design

We have a special program for interior designers that need to acquire multiple photographs for jobs. Please contact William Garnsey at william@anseladams.com or 650.692.3285.

We do not, unfortunately, offer appraisals. The basic reason for this is that the code of ethics for the major appraisal associations do not permit a financial interest (buying, selling, or brokering) in an appraised work within 5 years, before or after, of appraising a work. We do work with some appraisers and auction houses to provide estimates and comparables information for their research, and our experience does give us a great depth of knowledge about current and historical values. If you need a recommendation, please contact us at fineprints@anseladams.com.

Value Statements

We can provide what we call a Value Statement, for $30 which provides a range of values for a particular Ansel Adams original based on certain assumptions. Some insurance carriers accept them, some do not, you should check with your insurance company. Please contact Evan Russel at evan@anseladams.com .

Auction Consulting

Auctions can be a great place to purchase art work, and are also quite exciting to participate in. One thing to always keep in mind is caveat emptor – buyer beware. All sales are final, and excitement sometimes leads to paying more that you should. When it comes to Adams’ work, you should know the condition and have a good understanding of the item before bidding. We regularly attend the spring and fall auctions, and can inspect or acquire for you. Please contact Matthew Adams at matthew@anseladams.com well in advance of a current auction if you have any needs.
