About this Photograph - Forest Floor This print was originally produced with the deluxe edition of the book "Yosemite and the Range of Light". The book, published in 1979, was met with huge critical acclaim. The book took a great deal of Adams’ time and attention late in his career, and he oversaw all parts of the production. The deluxe edition, a cloth bound, slip-cased book numbering 250, included one of five 16"x20" images. Adams chose as images ones that he enjoyed but which had received limited attention over the years. Late in his career, Adams did start revisiting old negatives, but unfortunately passed away before he was able to explore his archive of 40,000 negatives.
