Michael Frye, author of Digital Landscape Photography and your guide for this class, is eager to share the answers to these questions and much more.

From mastering the Zone System when capturing your images in the field, to mastering contrast in the digital darkroom with Photoshop’s Curves, this workshop will help you cut through the digital chaos and clutter to put these powerful tools to work for you.

MICHAEL FRYE is the author and photographer of The Photographer’s Guide to Yosemite, Yosemite Meditations, and most recently, Digital Landscape Photography. Prominently featured in the book Landscape: The World’s Top Photographers, he has written numerous magazine articles on the art and technique of photography, and his images have been published in over thirty countries around the world, including the magazines National Wildlife, Outdoor Photographer, American Photo, Sunset, Texas Highways, Britian’s Professional Photographer, and Russia’s Foto & Video. Michael has lived either in or near Yosemite National Park since 1983, currently residing just outside the park in Mariposa, California.
